These are pictures from Long Beach Island, a beautiful island off the coast of southern New Jersey. The island, also known as Six Mile Island (because its 6 miles offshore), is where I spent most of my summers growing up, as did my father's family when he was a kid. My dad still has a boat down there, and my grandmother used to own a house there. I wish she still did...
